MSE PRO 3N (99.9%) Scandium (Sc) Pieces (1-10mm) Evaporation Materials,10g

Scandium (Sc) is a silvery-white metallic element. The main application of scandium is in aluminum-scandium alloys for minor aerospace industry components. Other applications include making yttrium-scandium-gallium garnet and scandium-based metal-halide lamps. Pure scandium was considered an optical coating material. Scandium film, loaded with deuterium or tritium, is under consideration to be a very important candidate as the D(T) ion source in the neutron tube.

The dimensions and purities can be customized upon request. Please contact us for customization or bulk orders
