IP-T-HC-50: Fully Equipped Teflon Based H-Cell Kit (50 ml Volume)

The IP-T-HC-50 is a fully equipped (Teflon based), horizontally mounted and a dual compartment electrochemical H-Cell set-up customized for membrane resistance studies that require a separate compartment for counter and / or reference electrodes and smallest possible distance between the membrane and working electrodes. The material of construction is PTFE that is suitable to use with organic or aqueous electrolytes. The construction also features a gas out PEEK port that is provided with silicon tube for each compartment. The cell is equipped with thermal control via recirculating glass tube that can be immersed from the side. The cell can also be used as a regular H-Cell or Carbon dioxide reduction Cell with facility for gas in / out at the top.

Available Volumes: 20 mL, 50 mL, 100 mL, 500 mL, and 1000 mL

Dimensions: The dimension of each compartment is 95 mm x 95 mm with 20 mm thickness. We recommend a membrane size of 4 x 4 cm2 to be tested for conductivity / resistivity. The exposed membrane area will be 2 x 2 cm2.

Customization Options: YES. Different volumes available. Photo – EC Teflon Cells IP-T-PECHC-50 also available with quartz window on outer side.

Compatibility: No limitations due to pH of electrolyte.

Includes: 50 mL PTFE reservoirs with three-electrode set-up (2), SS304 Screws (10), SS304 washer (20), SS304 Nut (20), Suitable spanner (2), Silicon Gasket (3), Fixing Hole (7), 6.5 mm electrode port with locking nut (PEEK) (Total 4 – Two for each compartment). Temperature control – cooling glass tubes included (2).
