Electrocatalytic Performance Testing Analytical Service
SKU: ECPT001
Overview
Electrochemical advanced oxidation is an environmentally friendly water treatment technology that uses electrochemical methods to produce highly oxidizing substances (such as hydroxyl radicals ·OH) to decompose pollutants. This enables the removal of refractory organic pollutants from water and has broad application prospects in industrial/agricultural wastewater treatment, drinking water purification, pond and groundwater remediation, synthetic chemistry, and other fields related to environmental protection and resource recycling.
In electrochemical advanced oxidation processes, commonly used oxidants include: hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), ozone (O₃), hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and hypochlorite (OCl⁻), permanganate (MnO₄⁻), persulfate (S₂O₈²⁻), and ferrate (FeO₄²⁻).
Electrochemical testing methods used in electrochemical advanced oxidation include current-time curves (i-t), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), and open circuit potential measurement (OCP). These methods help researchers better understand the electrode reaction mechanisms, reaction kinetics, electrode material performance, and electrolyte properties in electrochemical advanced oxidation processes, thereby optimizing the electrochemical treatment process and improving pollutant degradation efficiency.
Reservation Note
Sample Preparation:
- For powder samples: Prepare at least 10 mg.
- For solution samples (electrode coating tests): Provide at least 0.5 mL; for electrolyte tests: Provide at least 15 mL.
- For electrode sheet samples: Thickness should not exceed 1.5 mm, with an optimal size of 15 × 10 mm.
Advanced Oxidation Requirements:
- Pollutants and oxidants must be supplied by the user. If both are provided in powder form, they will be prepared on-site as needed. Please specify the molecular weight of the chemicals.
- If the pollutants and oxidants are in liquid form, the stock solution concentration should be 20–50 times the testing system concentration. A single test typically requires 25–30 mL of electrolyte.
Note: The listed price is for reference only. Please request a quote for the final pricing.
Analytical Service Minimum order requirement: $250 per order. A $200 handling fee will be applied if order is below $250.
Please contact sales@msesupplies.com for additional information and instructions on our Analytical Services program. Confirmation of the sample(s) requirements, SDS sheets and additional information is needed prior to processing the Analytical Service order.
