Overview
Gravimetric vapor adsorption testing is commonly used to evaluate the adsorption performance of materials, particularly for gas separation and storage. This method is typically selected for the following scenarios:

The method involves using a microbalance to measure changes in the sample's weight before and after adsorption and desorption under specific relative pressures. This provides data on the quantity and rate of adsorption and desorption of particular vapors or gases by the sample.
Sample Requirements:
- Powders: Minimum sample amount of 200 mg.
- Liquids: Must be non-volatile with a minimum mass of 200 mg.

- Other Restrictions: Toxic or volatile substances cannot be tested
