MSE PRO 1 kg Meshed Aluminum Foil (290mm W x 15um T) for High Performance Battery and Supercapacitor Research

SKU: BR0143

  • $ 39595

Product Details:

Aluminum foil is widely used as substrate (current collector) for cathode materials coating in Li-Ion battery research. The naturally formed oxide layer provides the resistance to corrosion and oxidation at high potentials. Aluminum has a good thermal and electronic conductivity when used as current collector.

This meshed aluminum foil is designed for high performance battery and supercapacitor research. It is manufactured by mechanical punching method and 17% lighter than aluminum foil with same thickness. It can improved the device power density (3.5~8.0%) due to the lighter weight and more active material loading. Other typical benefits are reduced internal resistance, better electrolyte infiltration and better coating adhesion which improves device rate capability and cycling performance.

This meshed aluminium foil can be customized upon request, such as the thickness/width of aluminum foil, the meshed area width, pore size, pore density and the meshed pattern. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
