MSE PRO™ 3N (99.9%) Cerium (Ce) Pieces Evaporation Materials
Cerium (Ce) is a malleable, soft, ductile, iron-grey metal, slightly harder than lead. It is used as a core for the carbon electrodes of arc lamps, incandescent mantles for gas lighting. It is also used in aluminum and iron alloys, in stainless steel as a precipitation hardening agent, to make permanent magnets. This high purity Cerium metal can also be used as an evaporation material for thin film deposition.
