MSE PRO™ Formamide
The MSE PRO™ Formamide is a colorless organic solvent, odorless or slightly ammoniacal, hygroscopic. In the presence of moisture, it can be hydrolyzed to ammonia and formic acid. It can dissolve casein, glucose, corn prion, tannin, starch, lignin, miscible with water, methanol, ethanol, acetic acid, dioxane, ethylene glycol and phenol, soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in ether and benzene, insoluble in hexane. Harmful, carcinogenic possibility.
