The MSE PRO™ Thiamphenicol B is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that kills bacteria, fungi, and higher eukaryotic cells by inhibiting protein synthesis by interfering with translocation and promoting mistranslation of the 7S ribosome. It is easily soluble in water, methanol and ethanol, and easily forms salts with many organic and inorganic acids.
