MSE PRO™ Indigo
The MSE PRO™ Indigo, a historic reducing dye, is commonly used as a textile dye and is widely used for dyeing cotton and other cellulose for use. In addition, it is also used to inhibit the corrosion of mild steel that occurs in aerated sulfuric acid. It is odorless, acts with fuming sulfuric acid to produce soluble sulfonic acid, dissolves in hot aniline, hot chloroform and forms a blue solution, insoluble in water, ethanol, ether, dilute acid and dilute alkali, insoluble in oil and grease, irritating.
