Applications:
It is commonly used as a marker for protein electrophoresis (-45 kDa), and has also been used in the production of animal models of asthma and as a component of reaction buffers for in vitro enzymatic assays, among others. It is also used in cell culture media to detect cytokines released by eosinophils.
