Applications:

Used as stationary solution for gas chromatography and as thickener, emulsifier, lubricant and clarifier, also used as complex of disinfectant PVP-I. Widely used in food, daily chemicals and other fields. Also used as wound healing promoter and disinfectant. Forms complexes with phenols and alkaloids to remove them from the sample, thus inhibiting their modification of proteins and interference with protein content determination.PVP may also enhance enzyme stability.
