The MSE PRO™ Sodium Bicarbonate An inorganic salt commonly used in biochemical experiments. Sodium bicarbonate is an acid salt produced by the neutralization of a strong base with a weak acid, soluble in water and weakly alkaline when dissolved in water. It is slightly soluble in ethanol. Stable at room temperature, easily decomposed by heat. No change in dry air, slowly deliquesce in humid air.
