MSE PRO™ Sodium Sulfite Anhydrous

The MSE PRO™ Sodium sulfite anhydrous is a water-soluble inorganic salt that can be oxidized in air. It is soluble in glycerol and practically insoluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution is alkaline. Irritating. Sensitive to moisture. It is more stable than crystalline sodium sulfite, but it can be oxidized into sodium sulfate when stored for a long time, and decomposed into sodium sulfate and sodium sulfide when heated.
