The MSE PRO™ Streptomycin sulfate is an aminoglucoside antibiotic that interferes with protein synthesis of prokaryotic organisms, it is effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, inhibits reproduction of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and production of toxins, and has bactericidal effect at high concentration. Odorless, slightly bitter taste, hygroscopicity, soluble in water, soluble in water and more stable, insoluble in ethanol or trichloromethane, stable in dry state.

Applications:
It can be used as an antibiotic with good bactericidal effect against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. In cell culture applications it is often used in conjunction with penicillin and other drugs to inhibit bacterial contamination.
