Simultaneous Thermal Analysis (STA) combines Thermogravimetry (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) in a single instrument, enabling the simultaneous measurement of mass changes and thermal effects in a sample during heating, cooling, or isothermal conditions.
This technique allows for the study of thermal stability, composition, and heat-related changes of materials, providing insights into mass variations with temperature or time.
