Polarized Raman Spectroscopy Analytical Service
SKU: PRS001
Polarized Raman spectroscopy can provide general chemical identification information that conventional Raman can provide, and can also detect information about molecular orientation and chemical bond vibration symmetry. It can provide useful information such as the molecular shape and molecular orientation of ordered materials such as crystals, polymer materials, and liquid crystals.
Polarized Raman spectroscopy is achieved by selectively measuring Raman scattered light that is parallel or perpendicular to the polarization direction of the excitation laser. During measurement, a polarizer is inserted into the optical path between the sample and the spectrometer detector, and the user chooses to measure Raman scattered light in a certain direction. For the incident laser, you can also choose to keep the original polarization direction, deflect the polarization direction by 90 degrees, or insert a "scrambling" element into the optical path between the laser and the sample to remove its polarization characteristics.
Analytical Service Minimum order requirement: $250 per order. A $200 handling fee will be applied if order is below $250.
