Undoped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Y3Al5O12, YAG) Single Crystal Substrates
SKU: SU3001
Undoped YAG is a substrate and window material for both IR and UV optics. Undoped YAG is highly transmissive in the IR region where glasses tend to absorb. YAG is much easier to polish to optical specifications but retains the chemical robustness near that of Sapphire. YAG is a non-birefringent material.
