MSE PRO Lithium-Rich Lithium Iron Oxide (LFO) as Battery Cathode Additives, 100g

Applications:

Due to their low cost and non-toxic nature, lithium iron oxides (LFO) are gaining attention as potential cathode additives for lithium secondary batteries. Li-rich defect anti-fluorite Li5FeO4 has emerged as a high-capacity cathode material exhibiting simultaneous anionic and cationic redox without significant oxygen release. LFO can be applied to LFP and ternary cathode materials.

Specifications:

  • Appearance: Light yellow powder
  • Particle size: D50 ~5-15um
  • Chemical Formula: Li5FeO4
  • Theoretical Capacity: 867mAh/g
  • Package: 100g/bag

Note: The capacity is for reference. This material is for research only.

Reaction Mechanism:

First charging platform (3.5V-4.0V): Li5FeO4→2Li++2e-+Li3FeO4

Second charging platform (>4.0V): Li3FeO4→2Li++2e-+LiFeO2
