    Neodymium Carbonate (Nd2(CO3)3 is a purple-red rare earth salt. It can be used for glass coloring and tinting for its attractive purple color. It can be used as additives for laser crystals. It is used in capacitors to enhance contrast and useful in protective lenses for welding goggles.
