Rock Thin Section Analytical Service

The core of rock thin section analysis technology is to observe and study the structure and composition of rock thin sections.

Rock thin sections are created by cutting rock samples into very thin slices, which are then placed under a microscope for observation and analysis. Using a high-power microscope, one can clearly see the crystal structure, fracture development, mineral composition, and other details of the rock thin sections.

Analytical Service Minimum order requirement: $250 per order. A $200 handling fee will be applied if order is below $250.

MSE Analytical Services offer professional Rock Thin Section analytical services using Zeiss Polarizing Microscope or similar instrument.
