AlSi7Mg is a widespread, heat-treatable aluminum alloy that can be used for manufacturing lightweight functional components in the automotive and aerospace sectors. This material maintains a high mass-to-strength ration with good corrosion resistance for an aluminum alloy, ideal for applications requiring a combination of excellent thermal properties with low weight.
