The WSE-5600 CyanoView Kit is a cyano LED light source developed to excite ethidium bromide (EtBr), which is difficult to detect with blue LED light sources.
Band cutting and imaging from ethidium bromide staining gels is possible with the same sensitivity as ultraviolet irradiation equipment.
Since nucleic acids are not decomposed like ultraviolet rays, the collection rate of nucleic acids after excision is high.
It is also compatible with fluorescent materials such as SYBR Green and SYPRO Ruby, which are excited by blue LEDs, and fluorescent materials that are excited by green LEDs, such as Pro-Q Diamond.
Purpose and Application
- As a light source for excitation of fluorescent dyes (peak 505 nm/main wavelength range 490 ~ 520 nm)
- Fluorescence excitation by transmitted light from below
- As a light source for band cutting out from fluorescent staining gels
