It used high intensity ultraviolet (UV) light (wavelength of 185nm & 254nm) to generate ozone and break down organic contaminants in order to perform non-destructive atomic cleaning. Its high performance allows the substrate to be cleaned in minutes and the benchtop size is perfect for space limited labs. It is widely used for surface patterning, surface cleaning, increased surface wettability, and many other sample preparation related applications.
