Gadolinium Gallium Garnet (Gd3Ga5O12) (GGG) Crystals and Substrates
SKU: SU3401
GGG (Gadolinium Gallium Garnet) crystals and substrates
Chemical formula: Gd3Ga5O12
GGG single crystals has excellent properties, such as high mechanical strength, chemical stability, thermal conductivity and thermal capacity. Because of these unique properties, GGG crystals are considered as one of the best materials used for a magneto-optical films (such as YIG or BIG thin film).
Both standard and custom made GGG crystals and substrates are available at MSE Supplies. Nd:GGG (Neodymium doped Gadolinium Gallium Garnet) crystals are also available.
