Multiple Connectivity Options for Automated Stirring and Heating
The Hei-PLATE Mix 'n' Heat Ultimate features various interfaces for automated laboratory processes. The RS232 and USB B ports allow control through our integrated Hei-PROCESS solution. The front USB A interface enables data logging via a USB stick, while the USB C interface allows you to connect the magnetic stirrer with the electric Heidolph lab jack for added convenience and safety.
There are three heating modules for temperature control: FAST for quick heating, and PRECISE and PRECISE+ for exact temperature control without overshoot, ensuring optimal protection for sensitive samples. The device is compatible with the Pt1000 temperature sensor and the dual Pt1000 sensor, which allows simultaneous create individual profiles and enhances the precision and reproducibility of your experiments.
For stirring, there is a three-stage start-up behavior setting. You can adjust the rotational direction of the magnetic stirring bar and benefit from the automatic stir bar detector for optimal mixing.
This magnetic stirrer includes all essential safety features. A large safety distance between the heating plate and control panel, along with a visual residual heat indicator for temperatures above 50°C, helps prevent burns.
The patented Kera-Disk® made of anodized aluminum, is chemical-resistant, scratch-proof, and has a diameter of 145 mm. This unique size makes it suitable for use with various accessories and samples while maintaining a small footprint. Additionally, the material allows for the fastest heating times.
