Overview

The Metal Fatigue Testing used to test the fatigue performance of metals and alloys under specific conditions, such as tension, compression, bending, and torsion.

Fatigue testing machines are generally categorized as follows:

1. By loading type: tensile-compressive fatigue, bending fatigue, torsional fatigue, etc.
2. By stress ratio: symmetric fatigue, asymmetric fatigue.
3. By test environment: room temperature fatigue, low-temperature fatigue, high-temperature fatigue, corrosion fatigue, etc.
4. By the number of stress cycles at failure: low-cycle fatigue, high-cycle fatigue.
5. By frequency: low-frequency fatigue, medium-frequency fatigue, high-frequency fatigue, ultra-high-frequency fatigue.
