MSE PRO 100g Battery Grade Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) Binder for Battery Research
SKU: BR0132
Product Details:
Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is widely used as a thickening agent and electrode binder in battery research, especially for graphite anodes. Compared with traditional polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), it can be dissolved in water, which reduces the use of toxic n-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) for processing. CMC is often used with styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) for silicon-containing anodes which requires extra flexibility.
