MSE PRO™ 3N5 (99.95%) Niobium (Nb) Wire (0.5mm Dia.) Evaporation Materials

Niobium (Nb) is a light grey, crystalline, and ductile transition metal. The leading use of niobium (about 75 percent) is in the production of high strength steel alloys used in pipelines, transportation infrastructure, and structural applications. It is also used in various superconducting materials. Other applications of niobium include welding, nuclear industries, electronics, optics, numismatics, and jewelry. Evaporated Niobium thin film is used as metal-based transistors. It is used to protect materials from oxidation at elevated temperature and also used to provide better biocompatibility for implantations.

The dimensions and purities can be customized upon request. Please contact us for customization or bulk orders.
