The MSE PRO™ 5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-N-acetyl-β-D-glucoside is a small molecule used in scientific research. It is an analog of the natural product indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), which is used to study the effects of growth hormone (a plant hormone) on plant growth and development. It is a chromogenic substrate for N-acetyl-β-D-aminoglucosidase producing a blue precipitate.
