The MSE PRO™ 8-Hydroxyquinoline is amphoteric, soluble in strong acids and bases, ionizes to negative ions in bases and binds hydrogen ions in acids. Insoluble in water and ether, soluble in ethanol, acetone, chloroform, benzene or dilute acid, can sublimate. Less corrosive.
