The MSE PRO™ Chloral Hydrate, Soluble in ethanol, chloroform, ether, olive oil, carbon disulfide. Soluble in water. Gradually volatilize in the open air, and turn into yellow color after a little time. 98℃ decompose into water and trichloroacetaldehyde. Sodium hydroxide can make it decompose into chloroform and sodium formate, can reduce silver nitrate ammonia solution.
