MSE PRO™ Deoxyribonucleic Acid, Lambda, Hind III Fragments
The MSE PRO™ Deoxyribonucleic Acid, Lambda, Hind III Fragments, We offer DNA purified from these sources: Calf Thymus: Prepared and purified using a method developed by our company that has lower protein and RNA contamination than most other commercial preparations. This highly polymerized DNA is an excellent substrate for deoxyribonuclease. It is a sodium salt that must be converted to be susceptible to deoxyribonuclease action by the addition of magnesium ions. Calf thymus DNA covalently bound to cellulose is also available: ^DNA cellulose, double-stranded ^DNA cellulose, single-stranded ^Salmon testis: prepared by modification of the method of Emanuel and Chaikoff, J. Biol. Chem. 203, 164, (1953). Contains at least 75% native nucleic acid. Also available as salmon testis DNA, denatured and fragmented. Prepared by mechanical shearing and heat denaturation. ^Escherichia coli: isolated as described by Marmur, J. Mol. Biol. Biol., 3, 208, 1961. ^Lambda phage DNA prepared from phage purified by CsCl, purified A260/A280 ≥ 1.8. homogeneous in agarose gel electrophoresis. 10 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0 solution containing 1 mM EDTA. 10 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0 solution with 1 mM EDTA. provides DNA fragments prepared by restriction endonuclease digestion of purified λ DNA. Supplied as 10 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0 solution containing 1 mM EDTA.
