MSE PRO™ Domperidone

The MSE PRO™ Domperidone is a benzimidazole compound. In biological studies, domperidone can block pre and post-synaptic DA1 and DA2 receptors and antagonize the inhibitory effect of dopamine on postsynaptic cholinergic neurons of the intestinal plexus and cause gastric contraction. It can promote the peristalsis and tone of upper gastrointestinal tract to return to normal, promote gastric emptying, increase the movement of gastric sinus and duodenum, and coordinate the contraction of pylorus, as well as enhance the peristalsis of esophagus and the tone of lower esophageal sphincter. Almost insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, soluble in lactic acid, soluble in citric acid.
