The MSE PRO™ Imidazole is a five-membered aromatic heterocyclic compound containing two intermediate nitrogen atoms in the molecular structure. It is soluble in water, ethanol, ether, chloroform and pyridine, slightly soluble in benzene and very slightly soluble in petroleum ether. It is acidic and basic and can form salts with strong bases.
