MSE PRO Lactoperoxidase
SKU: BO0001
MSE PRO™ Lactoperoxidase
The MSE PRO™ Lactoperoxidase catalyzes the oxidation of hydrogen peroxide with iodide to form iodine. Lactoperoxidase (LPO) is a glycoprotein with a heme repair group, possibly in the form of a mixture of two isoenzymes, with a molecular weight of 77,500 Da. Its iodide reacts directly with the heme group, and hydrazines inhibit LPO activity.
