The MSE PRO™ Lithium Bromide, Anhydrous lithium bromide is a widely used bromine salt. It is soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ethylene glycol, soluble in ether and pentanol. Aqueous solutions are neutral or slightly basic to litmus. Hot concentrated solution can dissolve cellulose. It is easily deliquescent.
