MSE PRO™ Neuraminidase, Purified
The MSE PRO™ Neuraminidase (sialidase) removes N-acetylneuraminic acid (sialic acid) from a variety of glycoproteins. The enzyme has an optimum pH of 5.0-5.1. little or no activity is observed at pH 4.0 or above pH 8.0. Capable of cleaving all non-reducing unbranched N-acetylneuraminic acid and N-hydroxyacetylneuraminic acid residues by hydrolysis of α (2→6), α (2→3), α (2→8), and α (2→9) bonds (with a given order of affinity).
