MSE PRO™ Niobium (Nb) Pentaoxide (Nb2O5) Nanoparticles, 100nm, >99.9% Purity, 100g

Niobium pentoxide (Nb2O5) nanoparticles is a promising material for application in many fields due to its properties, such as high specific surface area, high selectivity, and strength of surface acid sites. It has been largely studied as a catalyst in several types of reactions including dehydration, hydration, esterification, hydrolysis, condensation, alkylation, dehydrogenation, and in many types of oxidation reactions. Several studies have shown that Nb2O5 presents photocatalytic properties, such as selective oxidation of organic contaminants, photodegradation of organic dyes and hydrogen production. It is also used for advanced oxidative processes in Lithium-ion batteries.
