The MSE PRO™ Sodium Chloride, One of the most commonly used inorganic salts in biochemical research. The source of sodium chloride is mainly seawater, which is the main component of table salt. It is usually colorless or white crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, glycerol, slightly soluble in ethanol (alcohol), liquid ammonia; insoluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid.

Applications:
Widely used in biochemical experiments. Used in culture medium preparation. Used in buffer preparation, sodium chloride is used in the preparation of tris buffer, phosphate buffer salt, MPM-2 (mitotic protein monoclonal 2) cell lysis buffer, immunoprecipitation washing buffer, LB (Luria-Bertani) media and dialysis buffer.
