The MSE PRO™ Sodium cholate hydrate is a biosurfactant that can be used as a reducing agent in aqueous solution. It is odorless, bitter in taste, hygroscopic, soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and irritating. Its alkali metal salts are all soluble in water and alcohol. Natural bile acids are usually bound to glycine or taurine by peptide bonds and combined with sodium and potassium ions to form bile acid salts present in bile.
