    Applications 

    Thulium Chloride Hexahydrate (TmCl3 · 6H2O) is a green rare earth salt. It is used as a precursor to make other thulium products such as thulium(III) oxide. It is an important dopant/additives for fiber amplifiers, glass, phosphors and lasers. It is also used in proteomics research.
