MSE PRO™ Triton X-100
The MSE PRO™ Triton X-100, Trilatone is a commonly used nonionic surfactant and emulsifier, often used in biochemical applications to solubilize proteins. It is an unchanged and relatively mild detergent. It is used to lyse cells to extract proteins and organelles. It also penetrates living cell membranes for transfection. It is soluble in water, toluene, xylene and ethanol and insoluble in petroleum ether.
