MSE PRO Trypsin
SKU: BO0175
MSE PRO™ Trypsin
The MSE PRO™ Trypsin is a pancreatic serine protease with substrate specificity based on positively charged lysine and arginine side chains. It is derived from a 34 kDa inactive precursor enzyme, trypsinogen, which produces a 23.8 kDa trypsin molecule after enzymatic removal of the N-terminal 6-amino acid lead sequence. Its optimum pH is 8.0. it is soluble in water and insoluble in organic solvents. In vertebrates, it acts specifically on the carboxyl terminus of the Lys or Arg residues of the peptide chain. It not only acts as a digestive enzyme, but also restricts the decomposition of precursors of other enzymes such as chymotrypsinogen, carboxypeptidyl peptidase, phospholipaseogen, etc. It also acts as an activator.

Applications:
Used in biochemical research, it can be used for specific proteolysis, protein sequencing, peptide profiling, proteomics research, etc. It can also be used as an enzyme preparation. It can also be used as an enzyme preparation for biochemical research and as a cell digestive enzyme in cell culture experiments. Physiologically, it is also involved in important processes of metabolism, digestion, coagulation and other functions in animals.
