MSE PRO™ Trypsin 1:300 from Porcine Pancreas
The MSE PRO™ Trypsin 1:300 from Porcine Pancreas is a peptide chain endonuclease derived from the pancreas of pigs. It selectively hydrolyzes arginine and lysine peptide chains, hydrolyzing natural proteins, denatured proteins, fibrous proteins, and mucins to peptides or amino acids. Trypsin consists of a single-chain polypeptide of 225 amino acid residues. Trypsin cleaves the C-terminal peptide of lysine and arginine residues. The hydrolysis of this reaction is slowed if the acidic residue is located on the carboxyl side of the cleavage site and stopped if the proline residue is located on the carboxyl side of the cleavage site. Trypsin also serves to cleave the ester and amide bonds of amino acid derivatives. Calcium and magnesium ions, which inhibit enzyme activity. Soluble in water, insoluble in trichloromethane, ethanol, ether and other organic solvents. At pH1.8, boiling for a short time hardly inactivates it; heating in alkali solution denatures it and precipitates it, Ca2+ has protective and activating effects.
