Water-i.d 10 x Dipslide Test for E.coli, Coliforms, Pseudomonas Species and Total Viable Count need for the provision of certain types of bacteria is sometimes required by law, but on the other hand, given generally for health reasons, as well as to disinfect and to be used to vote on certain pathogens targeted. With the Water-i.d.® Bacterial tests, you have a simple, reliable, and cost-effective product on hand as Coliform bacteria to detect targeted. Automotive application, "Dip Slide tests" among other things to test for bacteria in water tanks, with industrial users such as the leather industry, but also for surface measurement, e.g. in swimming pools.

Sampling: Fluids   
The sample should be taken by immersing both sides of the paddle into the fluid to be tested, it having first been removed from the sterile container. Excess sample should be gently shaken from the paddle before it is replaced in the container.

Sampling: Surfaces
The sample should be taken by allowing direct contact between the agar surface and the test material. The paddle is flexible and can be bent at the upper end to allow both surfaces to come into intimate contact. Bacterial recovery rate is about 50% so that sweeping an area approximately twice that of the paddle will give a more accurate result.

Incubation
Incubate at35°C for 24-48 hours, when full enumeration should be completed.

Disposal
Used slides should be incinerated, autoclaved or soaked in disinfectant for a minimum of 24 hours before disposal

Storage 
Store in a cool dry place at an optimum of 8-15°C. Use before the expiry date on the box. Rapid fluctuations in temperature can lead to condensation forming in the bottom of the tube and potential dehydration of the agar. This does not affect dipslide performance, provided the agar still fills the tray.
