XQ Instruments SDB-1RL / SDB-2RL Robotic Benchtop Powder Dispenser Module

The benchtop SDB-1RL and SDB-2RL are automated versions of the SDB-1 and the larger SDB -2 dispensers for batch processing of microtubes or vials. Compared to the SDB-1R these versions have by similar functionality a much larger XY table with a travel of 300mm x 400mm to process substantial batches of tube or vials.
The SDB-1RL / SDB-2RL can be deployed for automated dispensing into well plates as well as racks of microtubes or vials. The system is controlled from a touch screen controller in the front bezel. Different tube rack formats can be programmed.
This solution increases productivity by enabling “walk-away” time of lab operators and alleviates tedious repetitive tasks and improves productivity and process quality.
One staff can operate a number of these robotic systems in parallel

At least 20x of dosage requirements (e.g. 40 grams for a dosage of 2 grams); 

Workflow

• The SDB-1RL will include 1 dosing head, 1 200mL reservoir, and 1 power supply.
• The SDB-2RL will include 1 dosing head, 1 5L reservoir, and 1 power supply. 
• Integrates SDB-1 / SDB-2 Dispenser with full functionality
• Pause/Start/Pause after action/Restart function
• Vibration mode on and off
• Multiple dose dispensing (up to 99x repeat shots per container)
• Racks/Trays can accommodate 200-600 containers depending on size. 
• Custom well-plate configuration:
     – Number of tubes/vials along X-axis and Y-axis
     – Spacing between adjacent tubes/vials along X-axis and Y-axis
     – Index location for first tube/vial
     – Skipped tube positions; irregular dispensing patterns can be realized
     – Ten rack configurations can be saved and name
