MSE PRO 10g Battery Grade 99% High Purity Multi Walled Carbon Nanotubes and 99.9% Carbon Nanofibers
SKU: BR0129
Battery Grade High Purity Multi Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MW-CNTs) and Carbon Nanofibers (CNFs)
Product Details:
These carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and carbon nanofibers (CNFs) from MSE Supplies have very high purity (>99.0% or 99.9%) by controlling the catalyst impurity level to be below 1% or even 0.1% through proprietary purification processes.
Battery Grade multi walled carbon nanotubes (MW-CNTs) and carbon nanofibers (CNFs) are built from sp2 carbon units and present a seamless structure with hexagonal honeycomb lattices, being several nanometers in diameter and many microns in length. MW-CNTs and CNFs are commonly synthesized by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and the diameter of carbon nanotubes can be controlled by deposition conditions, such as metal catalyst material, temperature and carbon precursor feed speed.

Applications:
Because of their good electronic/thermal conductivity and mechanical properties, high purity battery grade MW-CNTs and CNFs have been widely used for
- lithium ion batteries (as conductive additives)
- supercapacitors
- fuel cells
- flexible solar cells and screens
- conductive polymers
- conductive painting
- composites
