MSE PRO™ Aluminum Stearate
The MSE PRO™ Aluminum stearate is white powder; insoluble in water, ethanol, ether, soluble in alkali, turpentine, mineral oil, petroleum, kerosene and benzene and other solvents; decomposed into stearic acid and the corresponding salts when met with strong acid. It is used as raw material of metal antirust agent, waterproofing agent of building materials, polishing agent of ink, thickening agent of cosmetics and so on. Aluminum stearate is used as a smoothing agent and thickener in paints, and also has the effect of improving the thixotropy of the coating film.
