MSE PRO™ Ampicillin Trihydrate

The MSE PRO™ Ampicillin Trihydrate is a beta-lactam antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by inactivating the enzyme transpeptidase on the inner surface of the bacterial cell membrane. Slightly soluble in water and methanol, almost insoluble in chloroform, ether, acetone and carbon tetrachloride, its sodium salt is soluble in water.
