MSE PRO™ Crystal Violet
The MSE PRO™ Crystalline violet belongs to triphenylmethane alkaline dyes. Soluble in alcohol, soluble in chloroform, still soluble in water, insoluble in ether, soluble in water is purple, very soluble in alcohol is purple. In concentrated sulfuric acid is red light yellow (orange) color, diluted dark green light yellow to blue to purple, in concentrated nitric acid is olive color. Its aqueous solution becomes purple precipitate by adding sodium hydroxide, and becomes blue by adding hydrochloric acid. pH color change range is 0.5~2.0 (green to blue). Harmful, eye corrosive and irritating, carcinogenic.
